There seems to be nonstop talk of the New York Jets possibly moving on from Le’Veon Bell during the offseason and now the offseason. This after the team signed him to a massive deal last offseason.
Despite having three years left on his deal, general manager Joe Douglas admitted on Tuesday that they are at least open to trading the star running back.
This comes a day after head coach Adam Gase was asked if he wanted Bell back on the team in 2020, and he mentioned that he was under contract instead of stating outright that he wanted him back.
Bell later responded with a cryptic tweet.
In his first season with the Jets — Bell had just 789 rushing yards and three touchdowns this season.

Bell is entering only the second year of a four-year, $52.5 million deal.
