Garrett Wilson is not happy about the way he has been officiated on the field during his rookie campaign. Despite that, he has quickly emerged as one of the league’s premier young wideouts.
However, Wilson and the rest of the New York Jets offense struggled on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Following the 20-12 loss, Wilson jumped on Twitter on Monday to complain that he hasn’t gotten a call all season and what a ref told him on the field.
“I ain’t got a call all season…” Wilson tweeted. “One ref told me ‘this ain’t [Ohio] State no more.’ Crazy.”
Wilson later clarified that this comment happened during the first matchup against the New England Patriots at home Oct. 30th.
On Sunday, he finished with six catches on seven targets for 78 yards against the Bills.
Video of the play which Wilson responded to shows a late hit on the Jets’ rookie. Wilson was already out of bounds by the time Bills safety Jordan Poyer came flying in at full speed and delivered a hit along the sidelines.

Officials deemed that play to be a legal hit so no flag would be thrown.
For the year, Wilson has 63 receptions for 868 yards and four touchdowns while being targeted 101 times. In three seasons at Ohio State, he hauled in 2,213 yards and 24 touchdown receptions on 143 catches.
