It’s almost a foregone conclusion that the Houston Texans will end up moving disgruntled quarterback Deshaun Watson in the offseason. This relationship appears to be beyond repair, based on the latest reports.
All of this animosity has brought about numerous trade rumors, and some of them have the Pro Bowl quarterback going to the New York Jets.
Gang Green makes sense for a Watson trade, of course, given their abundance of draft capital and cap space. And while they may not be desperate for a new quarterback (Sam Darnold probably deserves another chance with a competent coaching staff), it’s hard to pass up on an elite talent like Watson when they become available. After all, if you want to compete in today’s NFL, you’re probably going to need a top quarterback. Just look at the final four teams this season — and the men who are under center for each of them.
Anyways, back to Watson and the Jets. It seems like a match made in heaven, and many saw Watson’s actions last night as a possible hint that it could be on the verge of actually happening.
The soon-to-be-former Texans quarterback was spotted at last night’s NBA contest between the Nets and Bucks in Brooklyn.

Maybe Watson is just a big KD or Giannis fan? Or, maybe he’s about to become the newest quarterback of the New York Jets…
Jets fans, and football fans in general, seemed to think it was a case of the latter:
Don’t be surprised if the Jets’ odds of landing Watson go up after this.
