The Patriots took down the Jets 10-3 in Foxboro on Sunday to extend their win streak to 14 games over their AFC East rival. In a game that featured 17 punts, the final punt of the game proved to be the difference. Patriots kick returner Marcus Jones took a Jets punt back 84 yards for the game-winning touchdown with just five seconds remaining.
Zach Wilson completed just nine of 22 passes for 77 yards and he was also the Jets leading rusher, going for 26 yards on the ground.
Both teams are 6-4 with New England holding the tie-breaker via winning both head-to-head matchups.
After the Jets lost 10-3 to the New England Patriots, Wilson was asked if he felt that he had let down the defense with a poor offensive performance. Wilson quickly dismissed the question and said “no.”
One of his teammates did not appreciate that answer.
Defensive Lineman John Franklin Myers took to Twitter and liked a tweet that took a shot at his QB for not owning up to his poor play as compared to what Josh Allen previously stated.

The team tallied just 103 yards of total offense. It can be argued the Jets have six wins despite having Wilson at QB. He has not been good in 2022 at all.
Wilson’s perceived lack of accountability is going to make him lose that locker room and this dream season can turn into a nightmare real quick.
