Earlier last week, Jerry Jones had a message for anybody that thought Jason Garrett would be fired during the season if the team continued to not meet expectations.
“Don’t bet any money on that happening, you’ll lose it,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan.
Fast forward to Sunday night and once again, Jones was being asked about the status of the Cowboys head coach after the team went out and loss to a winless New York Jets squad.
Jones told reporters that he’s not even close to thinking about any of that.
“I’m disappointed. I didn’t think this would happen,” Jones said of the loss, before adding, “I’m not even coming close to those future type considerations.”

The Cowboys would have to come completely unhinged for Garrett to lose his job.
The team will look to get off this losing streak when they face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football.
