The Dallas Cowboys, like every team in the NFC East, find themselves in a crazy situation where they are all still within striking distance of winning the NFC East while also having a chance of getting a top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Dallas is now 2-7 on the season following Sunday’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 24-19, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Cowboys are currently in No. 4 overall pick standing for the 2021 NFL Draft, which would put them in line to select one of the top quarterbacks in the class.
With Dak Prescott injured and unsigned for the long-term, would the Cowboys actually consider taking a QB?
Jerry Jones spoke on that notion on Tuesday.
“You’re asking me is it crazy to bring the idea up and I’m answering it, yes. We’re playing games here guys, but it’s not the thing to be talking about here at all. You know, Dak is our quarterback,” the Dallas Cowboys owner said on 105.3 The Fan this morning.
