Daniel Carlson kicked a 29-yard field goal in overtime after Anthony Brown’s fourth pass-interference penalty kept the drive alive, and the Las Vegas Raiders beat the Dallas Cowboys 36-33 on Thanksgiving.
It was a game filled with penalties and Jerry Jones did not like that one bit.
After the game, the Dallas Cowboys owner said that the Raiders took advantage of the situation, which he called “throw up ball.” As in, throw up the ball and get the penalty.
Both teams had season highs in penalties and yards. Dallas had 14 for 166 and Las Vegas 14 for 110.
“I call it ‘throw up ball,’” Jones said after the game, via Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News. “This will arguably be the most-watched game other than the Super Bowl. I hate that it got down to just throwing the ball up and getting the penalties to get you big plays.”
The Raiders ended a three-game losing streak with their first Thanksgiving victory since 1968. Las Vegas’ last win came a little over a month ago in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Cowboys (7-4), meanwhile, have now dropped three of their last four following a 6-1 start.
