Tom Brady tossed his 600th career touchdown pass on Sunday in a 38-3 blowout win over the Chicago Bears. His wide receiver, Mike Evans, did not know, which is why he handed the ball to a fan.
After some negotiation, a Tampa Bay staffer was able to get the historic football back for Brady.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was recently asked what he would’ve done if he had received that ball, and he explained he would’ve been a hard person to negotiate with.
“I’d be hard to trade with,” Jones said Tuesday, per Jon Machota. “I’d explain to everybody that that’s like asking for my baby. Then I’d tear-up for him a little bit (thinking) about how I’m gonna have that when I’m 90. And then after all that, then I’d take offers.”

Brady addressed the situation during ESPN’s Monday Football simulcast.
“I got the ball back,” Brady told Peyton and Eli Manning. “There was a lot of negotiation in order to get the ball back.”
In total, the fan received about $100,000 worth of gifts for the ball, which also includes one bitcoin from Brady.
“I am also giving him a bitcoin, which is pretty cool too,” Brady went on to say. “At the end of the day, I still think he’s making out pretty well.”
Ken Goldin, founder of collectibles and memorabilia auction platform Goldin Auctions, estimated Brady’s 600th touchdown ball could be worth over $500,000 in an open auction.
