Hours before the Divisional Round matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams — The L.A. area was being hit by buckets of rain from Mother Nature, which caused the field to be covered, but the sidelines looked like someone’s backyard as water began to pile up and make it muddy like. The sun would eventually come out and dry up the surface before the game, and although no players had anything to say about the field, Jerry Jones certainly did.
During his weekly radio appearance on Tuesday, the Dallas Cowboys owner blamed the LA Coliseum field as a reason why the team could never really get going in that game.
On top of that, he also blamed the type of cleats the team were using doing the game.
Seems like a weak excuse since both teams played on the same field and the Los Angeles Rams had no trouble running for a total of 273 yards, with most of it coming to C.J. Anderson who wasn’t even on the Rams roster until Week 16.
Along with Anderson rushing for 123 yards and two touchdowns — Todd Gurley also ran for 115 yards and a touchdown on that stout Cowboys defense that had only allowed 3 total 100-yard rushers all year long.

Be that as it may, the Rams are moving on the NFC Championship game and the Cowboys are headed to the offseason.
