Jerry Jones tried his best to avoid a rather important question.
On Friday, the Dallas Cowboys owner was asked very clearly “What do you need to see from Jason Garrett for him to be your coach in 2020?”
The Hall of Famer proceeded to pretend that he didn’t hear the question at all.
“What did you say? I really didn’t hear you. I really didn’t hear you. There’s a drill going on back over there,” Jones said, chuckling, before adding, “Next question.”
It may have seemed all in fun, but his unwillingness to answer the question lets you know that Jason Garrett is on his last leg with the franchise. Get it done or get out.
