The Dallas Cowboys opened up their 2022 season with a brutal loss to the Tampa Bay Bucs where they could only muster up 3 points all night long.
In that loss, the Cowboys lost starting quarterback Dak Prescott for multiple games due to injury.
The anger from the fan base was evident as fans threw things on the field at Dak Prescott when he exited the field at AT&T Stadium. Online, the diatribe has been even worse as some have called for Jerry Jones to sell the team.
Despite these early season struggles, longtime team owner Jerry Jones expressed his commitment to the franchise.
“I’ll never sell this team,” the 79-year-old owner said during an appearance on 105.3 The Fan.
Jones has owned the Cowboys organization for more than three decades.

One huge reason he will never sell the team is that Forbes revealed the Cowboys are the most valuable sports franchise in the world with a value of $8 billion. Not a bad figure when you realize he purchased the team for $150 million in 1989.
The Cowboys will look to bounce back in a Week 2 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
