Jerry Jones hasn’t had much to smile about during the 2024 season since his beloved Dallas Cowboys team has had a rough season.
The Dallas Cowboys owner was riding a high after Sunday’s 26-24 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he had a message to send.
Inside AT&T Stadium, Jones was walking with his son and by reporters when he stated, “Knew it All Along.”

Jerry Jones did not provide any context to what he was speaking about, but it is surely a joy that his team defeated a good team and did so at AT&T Stadium, a place where victories have been hard to come by.
Backup Cooper Rush completed 26 of 35 passes for 292 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions in Sunday’s 26-24 win over Tampa Bay.
The Dallas Cowboys have gone 4-1 in their last five games, which undoubtedly gives the fan base hope for what may be to come during the 2025 season.

Will Jerry Jones Extend Mike McCarthy?
Jerry Jones doesn’t sound like somebody who’s prepared to make an offseason coaching change.
The Dallas Cowboys owner offered more praise for head coach Mike McCarthy after Sunday’s 26-24 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
“I’m real proud (of the team),” Jones said, per The Athletic’s Jon Machota. “And Mike McCarthy, he just won’t let them not think that they’re playing for the Super Bowl out there. He won’t let them do it. I’m proud of that. I’m proud of the coach.”
Jones added, “There’s no question that we’re fighting with a very limited deck out here right now, and those guys are doing a great job. All of them, the players, but my hat is off to Mike McCarthy.”
The Cowboys declined to extend McCarthy’s contract, and it was always expected that Jerry Jones would likely get rid of him after this season if the team did not perform well.
Dallas failed to advance past the divisional round in any of McCarthy’s first four years, and now they aren’t going to the postseason.
Now, it appears he will have yet another chance to prove himself with the way his players are out there fighting for him.
