Jerry Jones is a well-known billionaire businessman and is better known as the owner of the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys owner currently holds a net worth of $13.5 billion as per Forbes. He has been the owner of the Cowboys since 1989.
Even with that type of net worth and popular team, Jerry Jones still finds himself envious of one professional team.
If you’re a resident of Dallas Fort Worth, you are aware that the Texas Rangers defeated the Houston Astros and are getting set to play the Arizona Diamondbacks in the World Series this week.
Jones told reporters Thursday that he might attend one of the Rangers’ upcoming World Series home games as he called the American League champions “inspirational” and admitted he is “elated but I’m envious” of their success.
Before the 2023 season, the Ranger had not qualified for the postseason since 2016. Now they have another chance to win a World Series after failing to do so over ten years ago in back-to-back years.
As for the Dallas Cowboys, the franchise has not been back to the Super Bowl since the mid-90s and as not played in an NFC Championship game for the same amount of time.
