Jones told reporters Thursday that he might attend one of the Rangers’ upcoming World Series home games as he called the American League champions “inspirational” and admitted he is “elated but I’m envious” of their success.
Before the 2023 season, the Ranger had not qualified for the postseason since 2016. Now they have another chance to win a World Series after failing to do so over ten years ago in back-to-back years.
