Jerry Jones has caused a stir on social media this week after making a startling revelation regarding his dietary choices.
The Dallas Cowboys owner spoke on ‘105.3 The Fan’ this week and, at one point, discussed Carolina Panthers rookie Xavier Legette, who revealed he eats raccoons and had some for Thanksgiving this year.
Surprisingly, Jones agreed that raccoons are pretty delicious after being asked whether he’s ever had any.
“I’ve eaten a lot of raccoon,” he said (H/T CBS Sports). “Yes, the answer is yes. I’ve eaten it hunting, and I’ve actually had it served by my mom at the table away from hunting. … It’s not uncommon at all.”

“One of my favorites is squirrel,” he added. “It’s wonderful, and my mother could do a great job of [preparing] it. We all had our favorite pieces. … My mom and I would even ask for the brain in a squirrel. Delicious. Seriously.”
“No way he said this,” a shocked fan declared.
“This kind of explains Jerry Jones!!!🤣🤣🤣,” someone laughed.
“That explains so much,” another agreed.
“There’s very little chance I’m ever gonna be hungry for rest of my life,” a comment read.
Jerry Jones, folks; the man never ceases to amaze.
