A blockbuster trade idea has the Denver Broncos sending their top offensive playmaker to a receiver-needy team over in the NFC.
Jeudy and fellow wide receiver Courtland Sutton have been the subject of trade rumors throughout the offseason. The trade speculation around Jeudy hasn’t wanted much, even though head coach Sean Payton stated back in March that the club won’t be trading either of their top-two receivers.
But if Broncos’ GM George Paton gets an offer he can’t refuse, the 2020 first-round pick could certainly be on the move. And looking around the league, few teams could use Jeudy more than the Green Bay Packers as they transition into year one of the Jordan Love era.
At NFL Analysis Network, Kenneth Teape proposed a blockbuster trade that has the Broncos sending Jeudy to the Packers in exchange for two draft picks:
“What could a trade between the teams look like? Green Bay could offer a second-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and a fifth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
While Jeudy has upside, he has not fulfilled it yet, at least consistently, in the NFL. The Broncos want a first-round pick in exchange for him but that isn’t a price any team is going to meet, especially when taking into consideration some of the injury concerns he has.
Getting a second and fifth-round pick is good value and provides the Broncos with a chance to restock their war chest. They have traded away a ton of draft capital the last two offseason acquiring Russell Wilson and Payton.”

Wide receiver was an issue for the Packers last season following the Davante Adams trade to Las Vegas. Their leading receiver was Allen Lazard, who hauled in 60 receptions for 788 yards and six touchdowns.
Lazard, of course, wound up signing with the New York Jets. And they went on to complete a blockbuster trade for four-time league MVP Aaron Rodgers, reuniting the former dynamic Green Bay duo.
Christian Watson, the top receiver on Green Bay’s depth chart, showed promise as a rookie by recording 611 receiving yards and nine total touchdowns in 14 games. But adding a proven wideout of Jeudy’s caliber would instantly make things easier for Love, who has just one career start under his belt.
