A blockbuster trade proposal has the Dallas Cowboys landing another prolific weapon to bolster their high-powered offense.
The Cowboys’ offense was a top-five unit in both 2020 and 2021. Despite Sunday’s disappointing 28-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, the offense still ranks near the top, having averaged 28.7 points per game through three weeks.
But what if Mike McCarthy and company added yet another prolific play-maker on offense to help a Dallas team in win-now mode?
At NFL Analysis Network, Matthew Schmidt proposed a blockbuster trade idea in which the Cowboys land Denver Broncos’ star wideout Jerry Jeudy in exchange for a 2024 second-round pick and a seventh-round selection:
“Through the Cowboys’ first three games, it has become clear that their aerial attack is in need of a boost, as Dallas ranks just 19th in the NFL in passing offense. Dak Prescott has had some trouble finding his footing, and outside of CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys have not gotten much production out of their receiving corps.
With the Oct. 31 NFL trade deadline looming, Dallas could very well be in the market for a wide receiver, and Jerry Jeudy of the Denver Broncos could represent a prime target.
The Broncos exercised their fifth-year option on Jeudy back in May, but the club has gotten off to an absolutely disastrous 0-3 start this season, most recently losing to the Miami Dolphins by a score of 70-20 (no that is not a typo) on Sunday afternoon.”
The Broncos are off to a disastrous 0-3 start, having been blown out by the Miami Dolphins 70-20 on Sunday afternoon in Week 3. Jeudy is under contract through the 2024 season, but GM George Paton might be open to trading his top offensive weapon if the price is right.

Through two games, the 24-year-old Jeudy has eight receptions for 106 yards. Despite missing two games last year, he finished with career-highs in receptions (67), receiving yards (972) and touchdowns (six). For his career, the Alabama product has 165 receptions for 2,401 yards and nine touchdowns.
