The NFL needs to ban this type of touchdown celebration before someone gets seriously injured.
Time and time again we have seen overly-excited NFL players celebrate a touchdown by whipping the football against the wall at the back of the end zone, only to catch an innocent bystander in the line of fire.
It almost happened once again at Paycor Stadium today, after Kansas City Chiefs running back Jerick McKinnon scored a crucial touchdown late in the first half against the Cincinnati Bengals.
I’m not sure if McKinnon played any baseball as a youngster, but that was one heck of a fastball right there.
