Brett Favre has been trending for all the wrong reasons on Wednesday for his take on the Deshaun Watson drama in Houston.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback was asked by Minty Bets from Yahoo Sports: “What do you think about Deshaun Watson’s decision to be traded?”
“I’m kind of old school,” Favre said. “I think you play. You get paid a ton of money to do a certain job and just do it and let the chips fall where they may. I think we make too much money to voice an opinion, but I’m not saying he’s wrong. Again, I think it’s a different day and time, and it will be interesting to see how the organization handles it.”
Favre said a lot of wrong things in his message, most notably his hyprocrisy of not taking his own advice when he retired from the NFL in the 2008 offseason, just to un-retire in order to force the Green Bay Packers to trade him to the New York Jets.
Of the man people to call him out was Jemele Hill.
