On Wednesday, the New England Patriots made a blockbuster trade for a player that they have had once before.
The Patriots traded for Los Angeles Chargers cornerback J.C. Jackson and a 2025 7th-round pick. In return, they would send a 2025 6th-round pick.
The Patriots have had some issues at cornerback and clearly hope Jackson can revitalize his career by coming back to the team where he made his name.
Jackson had fallen out of favor in Los Angeles as he was a healthy scratch the past two weeks.

So far this year, Jackson has appeared in two games for the Chargers and recorded three total tackles, one interception, and three pass deflections.
With a record of 1-3, the Patriots needed to make a big move to help the team before the season truly gets lost and major changes get made.
