Jayden Daniels entered the transfer portal three years ago, and his Arizona State teammates ripped him apart.
Fast forward to 2025, and he is easily one of the best young quarterbacks in the entire NFL.
Daniels and the Washington Commanders shocked the world last week when they took down the Detroit Lions.
Their Cinderella season came to an end on Sunday at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Following the game, Jayden Daniels was visibly saddened about the outcome of the contest.
“This sucks,” he told reporters. “This s–t sucks. Excuse my language, but I couldn’t be prouder of my guys.”
You can tell #Commanders’ rookie QB Jayden Daniels is gutted after this loss.

Daniels became the sixth rookie quarterback to start a conference title game in Philadelphia on Sunday, and just hours later, he became the sixth one to lose.
He was 29-of-48 passing for 255 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while adding 48 yards and a score on the ground.
Jayden Daniels Has Nothing To Be Ashamed Of
Sunday’s loss won’t define Daniels’ season.
Despite the loss, he is well on his way to winning Offensive Rookie of the Year and helped the Commanders advance to the NFC Championship Game for the first time since 1991.
The Rookie of the Year finalist finished the regular season, completing 69% of his passes for 3,568 yards.
His future is entirely bright.
