Jay Cutler recently stated last month that it was ‘hard as hell’ to get into the dating scene after divorcing his wife, Kristin Cavallari. She on the other hand has been seeing country singer Chase Rice.
Apparently, she does not like seeing Cutler move on at all. According to a report from People, the former NFL quarterback went on a date with Hollywood actress Jana Kramer.
“So far it’s just been one date,” a source tells PEOPLE, adding that social media buzz Kramer was being shady by going out with Cutler because of an alleged friendship with Cavallari is unwarranted. “Kristin and Jana are just acquaintances and have only met twice. They’re not friends.”
However, another insider insists Kramer leaned on Cavallari — who a source confirmed earlier this month is dating country singer Chase Rice — during her difficult divorce from ex-husband Mike Caussin.
Yahoo Sports reported that Cavallari blocked Kramer because she “doesn’t have time for this kind of [drama],” a separate insider tells Yahoo Entertainment.
“Kristin and Jana are just acquaintances and have only met twice. They’re not friends,” the source noted. One of Yahoo’s sources disputes this and says it is “a little shady.”

What Cutler said last month about dating being hard on him.
“Meeting people is hard,” he explained on his Uncut With Jay Cutler podcast. “I think finding out what people really want from you, I think that’s probably an issue. I’m at a different phase of my life now with kids and priorities have just changed. It isn’t just a purely selfish play by my part.”
Cavallari and Cutler are co-parenting their three kids, sons Camden, 9, and Jaxon, 7, plus 5-year-old daughter Saylor.
