Jay Cutler is killing Bears, and this time, it’s not because he is throwing interceptions for the professional football team.
The former Denver Broncos, Chicago Bears, and Miami Dolphins quarterback took to his Instagram on Tuesday and posted himself posing next to a bear that he had shot dead in the woods.
Not everybody in the comment section was happy about it, but just like during his career, Cutler likely did not care.
A first-round pick by the Denver Broncos in 2006, Cutler announced his retirement in May 2017. His final year saw him have 2,666 passing yards, 19 touchdowns, and a 62 percent completion rate, but Miami ranked 28th in the NFL with 17.6 points per game.
His ex-wife famously had to convince him to go play one more year for the Dolphins.
Cutler was always an enigma whose idea was more intriguing than his execution. His arm talent propelled him to the starting quarterback position for more than a decade, but he was never able to develop into anything more than a strong arm.

While Cutler did not live up to his potential as the 11th overall choice, he did have a long career and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2008.
Now, instead of killing the Chicago Bears franchise, he is actually killing Bears in retirement.
