It’s finally happened. Former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has decided to join Twitter. He had been running through a string of issues posting things on Instagram, so he decided to take his typing talents to Twitter.
Cutler, who started 102 games for the Bears, sent out his first tweet earlier this week.
Cutler had posted a video on his Instagram story titled “More COVID facts the CDC & Biden Administration doesn’t want you to hear,” and would soon highlight the warning at the bottom of the story from Instagram that stated the video was reviewed by independent fact-checkers and could contain information that is misleading.
Cutler wondered aloud if pro-vaccine videos were also reviewed by fact-checkers.
He decided to bring some his political views to Twitter and revealed he was eyeing a seat on the Williamson County School Board.

The 38-year-old Vanderbilt University grad posted to Twitter Thursday morning with a photo of the Board of Education members and the caption, “Doing school board research. Looks like a 2024 campaign for me.”
The series of tweets by Cutler came days after a heated Williamson County School Board meeting, during which the board voted 7-to-3 to pass a mask mandate for the county’s elementary schools.
Cutler, who is known for his fairly dry sense of humor, then revealed he actually lost a partnership plan with Uber Eats over his views.
“Lost a commercial with Uber eats partnering with the NFL. Was going to film in LA, “views aren’t aligned.” Guess they don’t like future School board members. Frees up my weekend, he said.”
