Jason Witten has had a very interesting few years that has taken him from the field with his retirement to the Monday Night Football booth for ESPN.
That would end as Witten returned to the field in 2019 and deal with a Dallas Cowboys team who can’t seem to find their identity and it has them hoping to get into the postseason during the final week of the season.
On Thursday, the Cowboys tight end was asked by David Moore of the Dallas Morning-News if he’d like to coach in the future. He said yes, and at the NFL level.
He was then asked if he wanted to coach the Dallas Cowboys. He walked out.

Some Cowboys fans were not feeling Witten even being presented with this question, not because it’s disrespectful to Jason Garrett, but because they don’t want him to replace him.
Witten has 57 receptions for 491 yards and four touchdowns this season.
