Calm down, Eagles fans. Jason Peters definitely meant this as a compliment.
Cowboys offensive lineman Jason Peters knows all about the fans in Philly as he spent 11 years with the Eagles, helping bring the city its first Super Bowl title in 2017.
As he ventures back to Lincoln Financial Field as a member of the enemy, Peters opened up on the dislike between the two NFC East fanbases.
“I just know Philly fans are f—– idiots when it comes to the camaraderie and the Cowboys, any team, really,” the all-decade tackle said via Jon Machota. “They know that. They pride themselves on being nasty. Philly fans are the wildest fans out there.”
Peters signed with Dallas last offseason.
“They going to cuss at you,” he said. “They going to throw stuff. They pride they self on that, so they know that. Philly fans is the wildest fans out there to me.”

Peters is tryng his best to downplay his return as “just another game for me,” it’s clear the city holds a special place in his heart.
“I got my first Super Bowl [in 2018]. I laid a lot of bricks there,” Peters said. “Philly, that’s my city. Just to go back, it’ll be great to beat ’em.”
Despite him being a legend to the team and the city, he expects to get the same treatment any other opposing player would get.
“Them fans, they so wild,” he said. “They might go to throwing stuff at me,” he said. “I’m not expecting nothing worse than them throwing stuff at me.”
