Jason Kelce will be facing off against his brother Travis in Sunday’s Super Bowl. But that’s not the only family affair to be featured in tonight’s game as he and his wife Kylie are expecting.
Kylie, who is 36 weeks pregnant, isn’t taking any chances and will be watching her husband hunt a Super Bowl ring while accompanied by a pair of obstetricians.
She told PEOPLE as much ahead of the game.
“I will have two with me,” she said. “They’re both my OBs on a regular basis, but I didn’t necessarily want one to be by themselves. All hands on deck.”
Kylie recalled having found out that her due date was around the time the Eagles would be playing the Super Bowl – not that she knew they’d make it to the big game, but she figured as much during the team’s undefeated streak.
Jason and Kylie already share two daughters.

I went to my appointments back in the fall when they were still on their win streak. They were undefeated at the time, and we just had a moment of, ‘Hypothetically speaking, the due date lines up very well with a Super Bowl date. If we happen to need to discuss that, would someone be open to coming with me?’
And of course, they were very understanding of the situation and said, ‘Of course, hypothetically speaking’ that someone would be able to accompany us.
Pregnancies are now considered full term around 39 weeks in, so the Kelces should be safe for Sunday. But you can never tell with childbirth; they may very well end up having a Super Bowl baby.
Such should be the case for Kansas City Chiefs receiver Mecole Hardman. The former Georgia star isn’t set to play as he’s on the injured reserve, but he has plenty of reasons to be happy as he announced his girlfriend’s water broke via Twitter on Sunday morning.
