NFL fans were comparing Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff to Peyton Manning for a rather hilarious and unfortunate reason.
Goff had a noticeable red helmet mark on his forehead in the Lions’ Thanksgiving game against the Green Bay Packers.
Fans on X (formerly known as Twitter) noted that Goff isn’t the first quarterback to endure this. Manning himself made the whole thing famous some years ago during his tenure with the Denver Broncos:
