Janoris Jenkins badly wanted to burn his former team, but he failed in a major way.
According to a screenshot posted by the Twitter account @NYGToday, the former Giants cornerback — now starting for the Saints — posted a photo on Snapchat of Jones with his eyes closed reacting to a play in the Giants’ 25-23 loss to the Buccaneers.
He captioned it, “A duke QB over Lamar. N wonder y they can’t win …LMMFAO.”
Jenkins was way off on this, since both players were taken in two different NFL drafts.
Jones was the No. 6 pick in 2019, while Jackson went No. 32 overall in 2018. The Giants selected running back Saquon Barkley in 2018.
Jenkins played most of last season with Jones, but found himself getting released after directing a slur at a fan on Twitter.
