It appears aggression levels are high all around the NFL this summer as fights are breaking out everywhere.
The latest such incident is said to involve Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams.
Williams was apparently not happy with undrafted teammate Starling Thomas as, according to NFL reporter Arye Pulli, he threw a punch at the rookie during practice on Monday.
It’s also been reported that Williams struggled in practice as he dropped multiple passes and took his frustrations out on Thomas after the cornerback forced an incomplete pass and trash-talked him.
Such incidents take place often during training camp, but this year seems particularly scuffle-heavy as we’ve had at least one happen every day since we got to this phase of the offseason.
Hopefully, Williams will learn to keep better control of his emotions as the Lions are depending on him to make it back to the playoffs.

The wideout is already set to miss the first six games of the 2023 season for violating the NFL’s gambling policy.
He is just one of several players who have been hit with suspensions due to gambling infractions, though he did not attract a lengthy ban as he did not bet on NFL games but placed his wagers from a league facility, which is also prohibited.
