Florida State’s coaching staff is in the midst of a busy month as the Seminoles have held various camps to get rising seniors and future prospects on campus for workouts.
Friday. On Saturday, more recruits flocked to campus for another Individual Camp as well as a Quarterback Camp.
By Monday, there was one notable sibling of a former QB on campus. Jonah Winston – the younger brother of Jameis – took part in Florida State’s camp led by head coach Mike Norvell.
Jonah has some time before he makes it to that stage as he is still in middle school. A video from Noles247 analyst Zach Blostein shows him making a long, accurate throw to one of the receivers.
After the training session, Winston told FSU reporter Max Escarpio that he’s had conversations with Mike Norvell and is hopeful that he’ll get an offer someday.

“The conversations I had with the coaches were great at the camp! I did get a chance to talk to coach Norvell when I went to my brother’s graduation. We basically just introduced ourselves to each other and talked about me coming to camp,” Winston said.
Winston, who won a National Championship and Heisman trophy during his time in Tallahassee, FL, totaled 7,964 Passing Yards in his colligate career, tossing 65 touchdowns to 28 interceptions. In 2013, he was awarded the Heisman Trophy and the ACC player of the year honors.
