Just because he isn’t starting every week doesn’t mean that New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston isn’t proving that he’s part of the team.
After the Saints’ victory against the Carolina Panthers in Week 2, the QB proved his fantastic leadership once again. In a video posted by ESPN, Winston was seen waiting for every teammate and staff member before entering the locker room.
Winston may not be their starting quarterback, but he is showing his teammates a great attitude that will certainly catch the attention of teams around the league.
Winston continues to play a positive role for the Saints without touching the field on game day so far this season.
Winston has had an unfortunate run as the New Orleans Saints starting quarterback. After replacing Drew Brees in 2021, he suffered a knee injury that turned out to be a season-ending ACL tear. He had a 5-2 record as a starter that season.
He would return to the team on a two-year deal, but after three games, he would suffer fractures in his back. Andy Dalton took over and didn’t give Winston a chance to take back his job.
