Ja’Marr Chase has had drop issues all offseason.
The Cincinnati Bengals rookie wide receiver issue during OTA’s continued throughout training camp. It even followed him in front of a national audience on Friday night.
Chase dropped three passes—all on third down.
The drop issues for him have made the transition from preseason game to practice field. According to The Athletic’s Jay Morrison, Chase got the first target of 11-on-11 work and dropped a ball that was going right at his chest.

Paul Dehner Jr. later pointed out Chase had another big drop in 7-on-7 redzone work, one that resulted in a turnover.
Chase only had five drops in his final season at LSU.
The 2019 All-American and Biletnikoff Award winner took out his frustration by getting in some additional work.
