The Seattle Seahawks traded two 1st round picks, a 3rd round pick and a starting Safety [Bradley McDougald] to the #Jets for Jamal Adams. Things are not going good, since Adams is currently ranked 78 out of 92 safeties in coverage, according to PFF.
Adams, in his first game in a month because he’s dealing with a groin injury, got torched by Stefon Diggs during the game.
The former Jets safety committed a costly penalty on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills and appeared to get into a brief but spirited conversation with head coach Pete Carroll in the third quarter.
“Obviously, it’s new guys, including myself … and we’re feeling each other out as far as knowing what we can do,” Adams said after the game. “There’s always pros and cons with everything, so we just got to continue to get better, continue to learn our teammates and continue to gel.
“This defense will be fine. Obviously, it’s frustrating, not coming out with a win and obviously having a lot of mistakes on the field, including myself. But we just got to be better, and we will be better.”

Adams has not signed a new deal since the Seahawks unloaded so much for him.
