One of the biggest names out there that looked to be on his way out of dodge was Jamal Adams, who had been rumored to be interested in going to the Dallas Cowboys, but nothing ever came of it.
The 2019 NFL trade deadline came and went Tuesday afternoon, and Jamal Adams is still a New York Jet.
The Pro Bowl safety eventually took to Twitter to deny all reports that he had requested any trades from the Jets and blasted the GM for going behind his back.
ESPN’s Ryan Clark was the one who reported that Adams wanted to return home to Texas, while others reported that there was mutual interest between Adams and the Cowboys:

General manager Joe Douglas confirmed that the two did meet, but stated Adams was part of the longterm plan for the franchise.
