Trevor Lawrence and Jalen Ramsey became entangled with one another during the Rams’ 37-7 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
The Jaguars quarterback tackled the cornerback in the first quarter and appeared to gator roll while holding onto Ramsey’s ankle. As his ankle began to get twisted, Ramsey responded by sitting up and slamming Lawrence’s helmet down on the field.
Ramsey finished Sunday’s win with three tackles against his former team.
The NFL has yet to address the matter.
As far as the game went, Lawrence struggled all game long as he completed 16 of 28 passes for 145 yards in Jacksonville’s fourth straight loss. The Jaguars (2-10) visit the Titans (8-4) Sunday, while the Rams (8-4) visit the Cardinals (10-2).
