It’s that time of year again when NFL players are making bold statement by showing up to training camp in various different ways. Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown has damn near become known for this as he showed up to training camp with the Steelers one year in a freaking helicopter.
This time around, it’s Jalen Ramsey who is making some noise.
On Wednesday morning, the Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback arrived at camp in an armored truck with stacks of cash in the back, pretty much a clear message to his team that he wants to get paid.
He even had his own personal hypeman:
“Y’all know what time it is! This man covers so good, he could have his own cell phone service. The man so good they’re finna give him his own jail: Jalen Towers, because these receivers are on 24-hour lockdown. If you check his pocket, he’s got eight Master Locks in his pocket. They’re on lockdown all season. The man, the myth, Jalen Ramsey!”

The Jags elected to not give him the deal he wants, and in turn, he went on record to state that the team would not receive a hometown discount when it comes time to pay him what he’s worth.
