The Los Angeles Rams have shown in the past that they are not afraid to go out and make a big move, as they’ve shown by their trades for Sammy Watkins, Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib, Brandin Cooks and Jalen Ramsey over the last three years.
Could they be possibly gearing up for another huge move?
Well, the Detroit Lions are currently shopping their star cornerback in Darius Slay and Jalen Ramsey has been in tune with all the rumors, which is why he took to Twitter on Saturday and made a push for his squad to acquire Slay.
Slay also seemed to like that idea.

Unfortunately for both parties, the Los Angeles Rams are in cap space hell and Slay is expecting a huge contract extension, so this pairing isn’t likely at all.
The Rams traded a 2020 first-round pick, a 2021 first-round pick and a 2021 fourth-round pick to acquire Ramsey in 2019 and the franchise hasn’t made a first-round pick since Jared Goff in 2016.
Trading for Slay would require significant draft capital to the Lions and the Rams just don’t have the assets to pull this off.
