Jalen Ramsey is doing everything he can to make sure the team knows he is done in Jacksonville.
The disgruntled corner requested a trade less than 24 hours after he got into a confrontation with head coach Doug Marrone on the sidelines during the Jaguars’ loss to the Houston Texans.
Most people thought that was the reason, but it actually wasn’t
The Jags cornerback went on the 17 weeks podcast, hosted by Uninterrupted, and laid out all of the reasons he requested a trade from Jacksonville.
Here are some highlights via Maven Sports:
“I want to be in a place where they know I am the best corner in the game and let me play and help the team get wins.”

“Most of us were like ‘No, we want to tie it up, we want to put it on the defense. We were feeling confident, and we felt like we had the momentum. We wanted them to really trust us.”
“Requesting the trade was something that has kind of been building over a little bit of time. It has nothing to do with my teammates here. It has nothing to do with the city.”
“It was more so with the front office and the organization.” Jalen says it outright.”
“I called my agent after the game.”
“Some disrespectful things were said on (Jacksonville’s) end that made me definitely walk out and call my agent as soon as I walked out.”
“I said ‘It is time. My time is up here in Jacksonville. I want to ask for a trade.'”
“I still stand by my decision to ask for the trade.”
Ramsey is expected to be suited and booted for the team’s Thursday night match-up against the Tennessee Titans. That is more than likely his last game with the franchise.
