In a recent episode of the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Antonio Brown was asked who the best cornerback he ever faced on the field. He made it clear that he has yet to meet that person.
Brown replied that he had “never found him yet,” but he did mention Jalen Ramsey as the one who talked the most when he still played in the NFL.
“We bumming him first play,” Brown said. “A guy like that, we’re going to bum him the first play. You just look in his eyes and then walk away. First play, we taking him deep. That’s how we started the game with him.”
Brown continued:
“See some of these cornerbacks, they be nice to the receivers because they don’t want to mention my name,” Brown said. “They don’t like to mention my name because their girlfriends have to say my name and then come stick me and say ‘you gotta get him this week.’ They have to consult with somebody about the game with,” Brown said.
Ramsey, who currently plays for the Miami Dolphins after being traded by the Los Angeles Rams, was quick to respond to Brown’s comments with a series of tweets.

Ramsey took to Twitter and posted several photos and videos of him intercepting a pass meant for Brown and claimed that he had won more matchups than he had lost. Ramsey also pointed out that Brown did not record another catch on him after the one he mentioned.
“Lord knows I won more than I lost lol God bless,” Ramsey said. “Oh and after that catch he talking about from the year before, he didn’t have another catch that game ON ME. And this ain’t no disrespect kus he too 5 ALL time, but shid ain’t never sweet so let’s get sum straightening.”
Ramsey made it clear that he was not going to let the trash talk slide: “& this ain’t no disrespect kus he too 5 ALL time, but shid ain’t never sweet so let’s get sum straightening.”
Brown is currently retired from the NFL, albeit not by choice, but he did make some news earlier this year as he made it known that he owns an arena football team.
Ramsey, on the other hand, is gearing up for the upcoming NFL season with the Dolphins. He was traded to Miami last month and has expressed excitement about his new team. Ramsey joins a defense that already includes Pro Bowl cornerback Xavien Howard and linebacker Bradley Chubb.
