Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts doesn’t seem all that thrilled about having Donald Trump watch him play in Super Bowl 59 on Sunday.
The United States President is planning to watch the Eagles attempt to dethrone the Kansas City Chiefs in person and has confirmed he will deliver an address before the game.
Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes claimed to be excited at the prospect of having a sitting president attend the contest, as did his teammate Travis Kelce. However, Hurts showed indifference when reporters asked him about it this weekend.
“He’s welcome to do what he wants,” the Eagles star said when pressed for his feelings.
Asked whether the POTUS’ attendance would add any pressure, he replied: “No, ma’am.”

Jalen Hurts Isn’t Outspoken On Politics
While Jalen Hurts isn’t outspoken on politics and didn’t publicly choose a side ahead of last year’s presidential elections, he spent time with former President. Barack Obama on the golf course, leading to suggestions of an affiliation with the Democratic party.
The quarterback is set to play in his second Super Bowl, having come close to winning in his first appearance but eventually falling short to the Chiefs in 2023.
He will hope to get one over them this time around.
