The last thing the Eagles want to see is Jalen Hurts going down with an injury.
The team is in Landover, Maryland, taking on the Washington Commanders on Sunday.
In the first quarter, Hurts took off out of the pocket for some yards with his feet.
However, he did not go down right away. He dove forward and took a hit that slammed his head on the turf.

Jalen Hurts appeared to be unconscious for a few seconds as teammates had to help him up. The referees did not notice it, but a spotter did, forcing him off the field.

Jalen Hurts Trying To Will His Team To A First Round Bye
Jalen Hurts being hurt with a possible concussion couldn’t have come at a worse time.
It would seem like everything fell the Eagles’ way after they beat the Steelers last Sunday, while the Detroit Lions lost to the Buffalo Bills.
That created a three-way tie for the top spot in the NFC. The Eagles, Lions, and Vikings are all 12-2 with three games remaining.
Hurts being hurt and possibly out for any time would drastically hurt the team’s chances of securing that bye week which is very important.
