Lamar Jackson should probably get Nicole Lynn on the phone as she’s secured the biggest bag in NFL history for her client, Jalen Hurts.
Hurts’ week has gotten off to a remarkable start, with the quarterback having agreed to a five-year contract worth $255 million with the Philadelphia Eagles. Of course, it’s easier to land a record-breaking deal after playing out the season Hurts just had. But that by no means discounts the role the Klutch Sports agent played.
Hurts’ deal is a lot more than the one Deshaun Watson got with the Cleveland Browns last year, though the latter’s $230 million is fully guaranteed while Hurts has gotten $179 million guaranteed.
Lynn is getting hailed on social media after the work that has led to a second-round pick becoming the highest-paid player in NFL history.

As for Hurts’ part, the signal caller went 14-1 as a starter last season, throwing for 3,701 yards, six interceptions, and 22 touchdowns (he missed two games with a shoulder injury). He also rushed for a total of 760 yards, scoring 13 TDs himself.
The 24-year-old, who has also landed the first no-trade clause in Eagles history, showed remarkable improvement in 2022, going from 19th to fourth in QBR (54.6 – 66.4) and upping his completion percentage from 61.3 to 66.5.
He also helped take the Eagles to the Super Bowl, where he led the team in both passing yards (duh) and rushing yards, with 304 and 70 respectively.
