It certainly didn’t take Philadelphia Eagles’ rookie defensive tackle Jalen Carter long to make an impact at the NFL level.
Carter was wreaking havoc all across the field in the Eagles’ season opener against the New England Patriots. As you can see in the video below, the Patriots’ o-line had no answer for the Georgia rookie, who made life awfully difficult for Mac Jones game long:
Carter came up with a pivotal sack on Jones during New England’s final drive in the red zone that brought up a 3rd-and-13 situation. The Eagles forced a turnover on downs two plays later to secure the nail-biting 25-20 victory.
The Eagles will try to improve to 2-0 on the year when they come home to host the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday evening.
