Le’Veon Bell is the latest NFL running back that wants to step into the boxing ring. And he’s setting his sights pretty high from the get-go, calling out Jake Paul fresh off his knockout of Tyron Woodley.
The free agent running back took to Twitter to express his desire to fight against Paul. Why? Because he’s tired of Paul fighting “small dudes who can’t box.”
Paul eventually got around to this tweet and fired right back at the former Pittsburgh Steeler All Pro:
Aye @TWooodley this clown saying you can’t box. How about you show him as part of the next MVP event? Tyron would drop you faster than the Ravens !!
Tyron Woodley, who Paul has fought twice and knocked out in his most recent win, is 5-9 and weighed in at 189.6 pounds for Saturday’s fight.

Bell is 6-1 and has tipped the scales at 225 pounds while Paul weighs in at 190 pounds.
For those wondering whether Bell can box, the NFL back has posted videos of himself in the ring while training for the season.
Hitting the pads is one thing. The real question is whether Bell would be able to use his size advantage to beat Paul in a real bout. And who knows? Maybe some day we’ll get the answer to that question.
