These two clearly do not like each other.
During the first meeting between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings this season, Justin Jefferson went off for nine catches, 184 yards and two touchdowns.
Earlier this week, Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander called the Vikings wideout’s performance a “fluke.” Today, he was looking to back up his trash-talk, and so far he has, shutting down Jefferson for the first quarter-and-a-half.
In fact, Alexander is feeling so good about his performance thus far that he even decided to hit the griddy in Jefferson’s face after breaking up a pass that was intended for the league’s leading wide receiver.
I’m sure there will be plenty more of this throughout the rest of the game.
