The leading receiver from this year’s XFL season is getting a look in Kansas City Chiefs.
Jahcour Pearson, who led the XFL with 60 catches and 670 receiving yards while playing for the Seattle Sea Dragons this year, is trying out for the Super Bowl champion Chiefs.
This offseason, he has also had tryouts with the Browns, 49ers, Colts, and Falcons. He so far has not landed on a 90-player roster. Possibly catching passes from Patrick Mahomes would be a great thing for him going forward.
Pearson played his college football at Western Kentucky before transferring to Ole Miss for his final season.
He ran a 4.42 40-yard dash, but his former XFL coach, Jim Haslett, has reportedly clocked Pearson at 4.28, which would be faster than Tyreek Hill. Being fast is one thing, but he has to put it all together to be as dominant as Hill is right now.
Pearson was named the Offensive Player of the Year in the XFL.
