Jadeveon Clowney trade rumors are starting to get louder and louder each and every day he doesn’t show up to any practices for the Houston Texans.
According to ESPN 97.5 host John Granato, the Houston Texans is “very unhappy” with agent Bus Cook.
Granato had previously reported that Clowney refused to go to Miami in a trade and was threatening to stay out until the end of the preseason.
Clowney has yet to sign his franchise tender and report to the team. The trade wouldn’t make sense for Miami if Clowney has already stated he does not want to be there. That means as soon as becomes a free agent, he’s out of there.
One thing remains the same, Clowney is need of a long-term deal, something he has been fighting for since the 2018 season.
Unfortunately for Clowney, he’s no longer eligible for a new contract in 2019. The July 15 deadline for teams to reach extensions with franchise-tagged players has long passed.
