The Jacksonville Jaguars have revealed Trevor Lawrence’s status for their Week 18 clash against the Tennessee Titans.
The star quarterback is still struggling with a shoulder problem, having missed last week’s fixture vs. the Carolina Panthers. But he hasn’t been ruled out of the regular-season finale against Tennessee, with head coach Doug Pederson telling the media the QB will be listed as questionable heading into the game, per Jaguars reporter Hays Carlyon.
The decision could be game-time for the Jags as it appears that they will wait until the very last moment to make it.
Sunday’s matchup is an important one for Jacksonville given that they could seal progression to the playoffs, secure a home game, and win the AFC South with a win against the Titans.
They could make it to postseason play without winning, based on other results, but a win on Sunday would eliminate all doubt.
Should Lawrence be unable to go, C.J. Beathard will step up in his place again, having performed well in the win over the Panthers in Week 17.
