Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey has formally asked the franchise to trade him after yesterday’s loss to the Texans.
According to Schefter, the Jaguars have spoken with interested teams, but there wasn’t any plans to trade him.
That didn’t last long as the team asking price would soon surface.
The trade request stems from his frustration with how he’s being used and from a confrontation with coach Doug Marrone on the sidelines where both had to be separated from each other.
Ramsey did indicate he would want to play in Houston shortly after the Rockets traded for Russell Westbrook.
