Additional details have surfaced following Jackson Mahomes’ arrest for an assault he is alleged to have committed after the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl in February.
Jackson, the younger brother of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was taken into police custody earlier this month and was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one count of misdemeanor battery.
The 23-year-old has maintained his innocent since the accusations became public, but there is video evidence that will be very difficult to disprove.
Per a police affidavit released this week (H/T the New York Post), the QB’s younger brother stands accused of grabbing Aspen Vaughn, the owner of the Aspens Restaurant and Lounge, by the throat and forcibly kissing her three times.
The document also states that Mahomes allegedly told Vaughn “not to tell anyone” and tried to placate her by asking “what he could do for her business.”
Jackson is also understood to have shoved a waiter at the same restaurant in a separate incident. He appeared in court on May 3 and posted a bond of $100,000, per the Kansas City Star.

“Jackson has done nothing wrong,” attorney Brandon Davies said back in March. “Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses.
“We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”
Meanwhile, the Chiefs quarterback has yet to address the matter publicly.
